Calgary First Aid offers standard first aid and CPR recertification courses for candidates that need to renew / recertify certification. Included in this Standard First Aid Renewal in Calgary is CPR level “C” and AED recertification. This is an Alberta OH&S approved course. This course, also referred to as intermediate first aid recertification, is shorter and cheaper than re-taking the original, full standard first aid course in Calgary.

Standard First Aid Recertification Eligibility:
To be eligible for this OH&S approved standard / intermediate first aid and CPR level “C” recertification candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Candidates must have taken a recertification course or a full course within the past 3 years through a credible provider.
- Credible providers include: St. Johns Ambulance, St Mark James, Red Cross, Lifesaving Society and Heart and Stroke Foundation.
- Candidates must have completed previous certification within Canada. International certificates are not acknowledged by St Mark James.
Workplace Certification:
Once candidates complete the skills component and the multiple choice test with a minimum grade of 70%, candidates will receive a workplace standard first aid and CPR level “C” certificate that is valid for 3 years.

Cancellations and Refunds:
Calgary First Aid does not accept cancellations or refunds within 72 hours of the course. Prior to 72 hours of the course candidates can receive a full refund.
