Canada training affiliates that are certified instructors in H2S safety. All candidates that successfully complete this program receive a Energy Safety Canada Hydorgen Sulphide training certificate that is valid for 3 years. This is a one day course that we offer at our main training location in SW Calgary. This course is set by industry and meets all industry standards and requirements set by the petroleum industry. This course is designed for candidates that work in the oil and gas industry.

Course Cost
The cost of this course is 170. Taxes and certification fees are included in the price of the course.
Course Content
Candidates enrolled in this course will learn about the following components.
- The physical properties of H2S
- The dangers of H2S
- Management of high / toxic level’s of H2S
- Rescue management of a H2S victim
- Protective equipment used in toxic level’s of H2S
- Monitoring and detection equipment for high PPM (part per million) concentrations of H2S
- Case studies and statistics on Hydrogen Sulfide
- Staying safe in H2S environments
Course Length
The length of this course is 8 hours. Candidates will be given time for breaks, lunch and refreshments. 100% attendance is mandatory to successfully complete this course. Candidates may be denied entry upon late arrival.
Refund and Transfer Policy
Refunds and reschedules are not accepted in less than 5 days. If we do not receive a cancellation notice for your registration at least 5 days prior to your course date you would need to pay again the full cost to rebook.

Certification
Candidates that successfully complete the course will be issued a 2 month certificate and will be mailed a 3 year certificate. Certification meets Canadian industry standards for H2S safety in oil and petroleum industries. No re-certifications are available for this course.
Prerequisites
No prerequisites are required for this course. Candidates must bring valid photo ID on the day of the course. This must be presented to the Energy Safety Canada instructor.
