Windsor First Aid has quick and easy enrolment for prospective trainees.
A student can sign up for a program one of four ways: registration form on the website, walk-in, e-mail, or telephone call. While registration forms on the website and e-mails can be sent at whatever time, expect replies to your request during business hours. Similarly, any walk-ins and telephone calls will only be entertained during business hours as well.

After completing your enrolment, settling of all fees are completed. Before training is started, Windsor First Aid makes sure that all fees are paid so the trainee does’t worry about expenses during training. Fees include tuition, taxes, certificates, St Mark James registration fees, and training manuals.
Students who do not finished the program will receive full reimbursements, as long as a notice is given to the staff at least 72 hours prior.
Basic first aid includes cariopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillation (AED) training.
Basic first aid programs are held at various schedules throughout the week, 14-16 hours in total. The program curriculum focused on basic first aid skills such as managing choking and bleeding injuries, performing basic wound care and immobilization, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Class hours are spent half in theory or lectures and half developing and practicing different skills.
Stand-alone classes for CPR are also available. These are 4, 5, and 6 hours long, depending on the level or category of the program. A and C are for new trainees while HCP is for health care professionals. Automated external defbrillators (AEDs) are also included in the training. AEDs are machines that give the heart electrical shock during CPR.
Students receive certification from St Mark James.
Students need the following in order to pass a class or program: attendance of all classes, get at least 75 percent on the written exam, and adequate demonstration of first aid and CPR skills. After passing, students receive a St Mark James certificate card. This is valid for three years and has to be renewed once it expired.
Standard first aid, CPR and AED recertification for first aid is 8 hours long, twice a week. CPR recertification for category C and HCP are four hours long, twice a week as well. Participants are asked to ensure that they meet prerequisites prior to registering for a renewal course.
Private training is offered by instructors.
Students can book instructors for private training in the comfort of their own home. Big groups can also sign up for a private class. Instructors at Windsor First Aid are very versatile and can even be hired for training at events like seminars and workshops.
