Learn How To Stimulate The Muscles Around The Eye
- This workout is straightforward, but must be completed each morning. When you wake up, rinse your face with water (if possible – cool or a bit of cold water).
- Then take a mouthful of water, shut your eyes and splash some cold water over your eyes.
- This workout helps arouse the muscles surrounding the eyes, due to the force applied by the water filled in your mouth.
- The cold water on your face invigorates the nerves and revitalizes the skin.
Using Your Fingers To Massage Around The Eyes
- This is an excellent workout for individuals who work extensive hours in front of their PCs.
- Keep your eyebrows sandwiched between your thumb and index finger.
- Now, softly press and straighten out your eyebrows, applying gentle force on all the points.
- Then, use your thumb and softly move it around your eye socket. Practice this workout every four hours to increase the blood flow around your eyes.
- This exercise increases the blood circulation surrounding the eyes helping them fight exhaustion after continually staring at a computer screen all day.
Exercising The Eye Muscles Constantly
- This exercise is prepared to arouse the muscles surrounding your eyeballs (that are existent inside the eye socket).
- Move your eyeballs, firstly to the right and then to the left, then up and down. Do this in all directions for at least three cycles.
Resting Your Eyes Is Important
- This method is known as palming.
- To do this, massage the palms of your hands for about 30 seconds – until your palms feel warm – then place them gently over the eyes.
- Keep this position till the warmth decreases. Gradually open your eyes.
- Be careful not to stare directly at bright light after this; let your eyes slowly adapt to the change.
Wink Those Eyelids
- Blinking is the normal way to reintroduce moisture in the eyes and offer it some much needed assistance.
- To relax your eyes, make it a routine to blink after every six seconds throughout the exercise.
